EARLY CAREER RESEARCHER GRANTS

**Please note we currently do not have ECR Grants available, unless you are applying for funding to attend the Royal Society ‘Artificial Cell’ Meeting in February 2018 or the Microbial Stress Meeting, April 2018**

We are helping early career researchers network…

At CBMNet we are committed to promoting Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy to our early career scientists. We provide bursaries to allow ECRs to work with academic and industrial partners and to attend and present at relevant conferences and training events.

We class a scientist as early career if they are completing or have completed a PhD, and do not hold a permanent lectureship position.

Applications must be directly related to industrial biotechnology or bioenergy (IBBE) and within the CBMNet Remit. BBSRC defines IBBE as: The use of biological resources (including plants, algae, marine life, fungi and micro-organisms) for producing and processing materials, chemicals and energy.

To apply for a Early Career Researcher Grant please complete the short CBMNet ECR Grant Application form and email this, along with a copy of your CV to jen.evans@shef.ac.uk.
