CBMNet awarded ISCF Industrial Biotechnology Catalyst Early Stage Feasibility Projects

We are pleased to confirm that UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), the Biotechnology and Biological Science Research Council (BBSRC) has agreed to provide a grant of £233,222 to CBMNet to support Industrial Biotechnology Catalyst: Early Stage Feasibility Projects, provided through Wave 1 of the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF).

These funds will be used to support seven CBMNet projects, which will undertake Early Stage Feasibility Projects where researchers engage with an industrial partner to take steps to demonstrate Proof of Concept within the strategic scope of the Industrial Biotechnology Catalyst:

Development of novel bacterial strains for production of hydrophobic compounds
