Our Crossing Biological Membranes network pools skills from academia and business to develop research projects with the potential to overcome major challenges in the industrial biotechnology and bioenergy arena.

Aims of CBMNet

Our network develops innovative technologies to overcome yield restrictions caused by inefficient transport systems in existing Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy (IBBE) processes and aims to embed fully-integrated efficient transport systems into the design of future IBBE activities.
